Etsy update! Heart satchel purse, sunflower skirt, a ruffle dress with pleated corduroy skirt, railroad stripe overalls, and more.. everything is up in the shop.
PS.. Meet my new shop background! Our new place has about 100 million times the amount of natural light our old place had, which means I can take bright photos in our living room! Finally. Soon, my shop will undergo a little renovation. I love the idea of a cleaner, simpler look - something that white walls really provide - so I'll be taking my shop photos in this fashion from now on!

blooming leopold fall lookbook

You guys, I have been planning this for ages and I'm so glad I can share it with you now.
This is the first installment of the Blooming Leopold Fall Lookbook, featuring my absolute favorite vintage pieces fit for autumn! I've been hoarding them away, some as early as last spring, until I could feature them properly in a collection.

The Fall lookbook includes a 1970s tweed jacket made in Nashville, a 1990s black silk blouse, Bill Blass chestnut brown wool trousers, a 1970s cable knit chunky sweater, long plaid cotton skirt, and a silky sheer polka dot dress with a drop waist and pretty cap sleeves. All are in the shop now!
The second installment of the fall lookbook will be out this coming Monday. It'll include the autumny velvet dress, above, as well as the lace bodysuit and creme colored blouse. I have a 1940s peach gown and double denim overalls to add as well, among other pieces.

shop update! fur coats and italian oxfords.
Shop update! The ones above as well as a 1970's tomato red fringe cape, a peter pan collar bow blouse in plaid, and a 1940's suede and fur swing coat.
As you may have guessed, I've decided to hold onto the military dress I found.. at least long enough to post about it. It was hard enough letting go of the hearts and bows cardigan above, which is by far my favorite listed item this week (the second being either the rabbit fur or the red fringe cape). When I saw it in the thrift store, I immediately thought of Anthropologie sweaters I fell in love with this winter.. the kelly green and navy hues go so perfectly together, and it's whimsical and sweet - just like Anthropologie itself.
I'm shipping out my first Etsy trade tomorrow! Meaghan and I are doing a trade - I'm sending her a couple of items for her beautiful Christmas in Killarney coat. It's got velvet bows and green puffy sleeves and I can't wait to put it on! What a blessing it is to have great blogging friends.
