tba spring/summer 2011

I don't know where all of my time went, but it's certainly ran out. I feel super busy right now and can't really pinpoint a specific reason why.. maybe it's a combination of a million little things? At any rate, I'm in the middle of crafting a spring trends post for you all - but for tonight, here are images from my favorite spring/summer 2011 collection.

I'm sure many of you have already caught TBA's spring/summer 2011 collection circling round the web but for those who haven't, you're in for a treat. The collection is a sweet mix between Beatrix Potter and seventies chic, with a little art deco thrown in for good measure. I adore the colors, the collars, the oxfords with ruffled ankle socks, the feedsack florals.

The rose hued dress with pleated skirt is just wonderful, but nothing tops the blue liberty print blazer and matching dress combo. More photos here.

warehouse spring/summer 2011

Warehouse Spring/Summer 2011 is a short list of what I want to wear this spring.. high waisted wide legged trousers, lace shorts, oversized sheer button ups in creamy white. While it's much more simple and classic than the flowery collection I posted last week, it has its own, more grown-up charms.. and I really can't get over that nude button up maxi dress.

Speaking of.. maybe I'll start making Wednesday my go-to day for posting new collections. Are there any spring 2011 collections (or fall or pre-fall, for that matter) that are really inspiring you at the moment?

samantha pleet spring/summer 2011

Today was not the greatest day for me. I finally caught a cold I've been fighting, had super bad period cramps, broke my camera tripod as I was trying to take shop photos, and accidentally dropped my eyeliner down the bathroom sink. And a plumbing pipe broke, spilling all of our bath water onto the basement floor. All of this and I still haven't been able to do any serious unpacking. Yuck.

Fortunately, the day got better. Neil came home and we picked up some Thai takeout and a movie, I ordered some birthday shoes(!), and Rhi sent me a link to this lovely collection. Not to mention, sometimes it takes a crappy day to realize all of the awesomeness in your life.. we may have a mess on our hands and a million bags and boxes to unpack, but we have a perfect new place and everything we need - especially for being a couple of broke young kids.

But back to the photos! Samantha Pleet's Spring/Summer 2011 collection has little floral dresses, polka dots, pretty white blouses, and the best shade of brown I've ever seen in adorable high waisted shorts. The swimsuit, bow dress, and the little flat oxfords are my absolute favorites.
