Future of London hosted the latest in its Breakfast Seminar series yesterday, examining the role that community-led housing might play in the future development of London, in the context of both the Comprehensive Spending Review to be launched today, and the Coalition Government's vision for the Big Society.
The session began with a debate led by David Lunts (Director of London HCA) and Philippe Castaing (Chair of Brixton Green) over the specific role that Community-led Housing can play in the development of areas of London, followed by a closer look at schemes being devised and developed at Brixton Green in LB Lambeth and Hackbridge in LB Sutton. Panel contributions were also provided by Simon Latham (LB Sutton), Dinah Roake (HCA) and Stephen Hill (C20 Future Planners).
