Tote That Barge, Lift That Bale . . . . Pack Mule Weekend

What is less fun than root canal work, but more fun than going to prison?

Moving.
And moving on a hot humid day or in the rain is even more of a laugh riot.

That is what we are doing these three days -- Friday, Saturday and Sunday --
helping daughter Anne move into her apartment as she starts graduate school.

It's an adorable vintage apartment -- wait till you see pictures of the original floors! -- but it's up 26 steps.

Oy. Wish us luck. Yesterday, Friday, was in the 90s and as close as a kidnapper's chloroform hankie.

Thank goodness Anne has youthful stamina!
Today it is raining. I can't imagine what delights tomorrow will bring.

I will see you on Monday. Precious little computer time for me for a few days.

Meanwhile, here's a little collage of vintage cocktail napkins.

Howard says I have too much stuff, and if I want to continue to go
thrifting and antiquing, I should consider recycling what I already have.

When he's right, he's right.

I signed on with Etsy last year, and purchased a few things. Great site, great fun, so now I'm listing some things for sale. Eventually I'll add these cocktail napkins. I tried to do so the other day, but the computer gods were not on my side.

It feels a little like offering my children for sale but the difference is,
someone might actually want my old stuff.

The house in the collage is not for sale! :-)

Have a lovely weekend, my friends! -- Cass
